Trump & us – Wie er unsere Welt verändert S00E01 · Single Film

Overview

The film reconstructs key moments and dramatic events of an exceptional year, sorts through the daily headlines, analyzes, and questions them – to gain a broader and clearer picture. Trump's second presidency begins immediately after his inauguration on January 20, 2025, with demands on the EU and NATO – ostensibly his allies. More stick than carrot. At the NATO summit in The Hague, the Europeans agree to invest more in defense. Caught between flattery and self-assertion, Europe searches for a new strategy – and simultaneously has to watch as it is left behind on the world stage. Can Trump make peace? Precisely because of who he is?
